Board year 2021-2022

  • Tim Muilder

    Chair

Tim is studying Philosophy and Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. He believes that economists need a more extensive toolkit and a broader perspective to understand the challenges that society faces, such as inequality and the green transition. Enriching the education of economics by making it more pluralistic, real-world based and interdisciplinary will enable students to take on these challenges.

  • Katharina Buchsbaum

Katharina’s family moved from Russia to Germany right before she was born. This cultural difference sparked her interest in economic pluralism from an early age.

This is why she decided to study a mixed Bachelor: Politics, Psychology, Law & Economics in Amsterdam, learning more about solving global issues from various angles.

  • Ilse Meijer

    Treasurer

Ilse is studying Philosophy, Politics and Society, and Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies at Radboud University. She wrote her thesis on the human nature behind Homo Economicus and is particularly interested in the (hidden) assumptions behind economic ideas and models.
